My aim is to make the process of planning your wedding cake as easy and enjoyable as possible for you.

When deciding on the size of your wedding cake , there are several factors to consider - Are you serving the cake as dessert? Do you want cake left over for breakfast the next day? Do you want to save the top tier? and more!

Unless you’re serving your wedding cake as dessert for all your guests, I usually suggest catering for around 75% of your total guest count. This should ensure you’ll have plenty to go around but you won’t be eating cake for weeks afterwards.

Prices + Portions.

Every single Flour + Blush wedding cake is different - I put a lot of time and effort into personalising the details to you as a couple and this is reflected in the price. There is no one price fits all and it will depend on every little detail.

I do have a £475 minimum spend for all wedding cakes. In addition to this, please consider budgeting for delivery and set up costs which are dependent on the location of your venue as well as the complexity and time required when setting up your cake.

The design.

My favourite part! I adore creating new and unique designs, tailored to my couples and their personalities. I might not do novelty cakes, but that doesn’t mean the design can’t be meaningful!

All my cakes are complete with a couverture white chocolate ganache finish, and this lends itself perfectly to all kinds of styles - whether it be a rustic semi-naked, a classic white wedding or something a little more out the box.

As part of booking with Flour + Blush, you’ll be entitled to a design consultation where we’ll meet for a natter and a brew and work together to design every element of your cake. You’ll also receive a digital sketch of your cake design to help you envision it and get you even more excited for the real thing.

Flavours.

As a baker, I am very proud to have a multitude of reviews accolading the taste of my cakes! I use excellent quality ingredients for all my bakes making every single one deliciously moist and memorable.

Whilst I don’t offer traditional fruit cake as an option for your wedding cake, the list of potential flavours is pretty endless. I have a selection of popular favourite flavours, but if you have something particular in mind, just let me know! It’s highly likely that it is possible.

As part of your booking, you will receive a special taster box of six flavours of your choice from my most popular. These are made once a month between the months of October and April and can be collected or sent by post anywhere in the UK.

If you would like to try a taster box before securing your wedding date, you’re very welcome to book onto one of the sessions, there is just a £30 charge plus p+p.
